After a very filling lunch at With A Pinch Of Salt, Crystal brought me to Ice Cream Gallery to have desserts. She seems to know Tanjong Katong area very well – A good tour guide indeed!

Ice Cream Gallery is one of the ice cream places that caters to the local palate. It serves a variety of flavours such as Mao Shan Wang Durian Ice Cream, Gula Melaka & Red Bean Ice Cream, Teh Halia Ice Cream and Avocado Gula Melaka Ice Cream. As you can see from the pictures depicted above, Ice Cream Gallery also serves ice cream cakes, ice cream tubs, popsicles and beverages. Ice Cream Gallery is a place for relaxation with the help of filling your tummy with delicious ice-cream with friends or you can opt to read the magazines if you are alone! I have no comments regarding the service there as the transaction was quick and easy.
It was crazy when both of us ordered two cups of ice-cream (1st picture) even though we were already so bloated! We got a scoop Mao Shan Wang Durian Ice Cream (2nd picture) in an ice cream cup and another cup with a scoop of Earl Grey & Fig Ice Cream and a scoop of Sea Salt Caramel & Almond Ice Cream (3rd & 4th pictures). We wanted to separate the durian ice-cream from the others as it tasted really bad when we combined tiramisu with durian at Udders the other time. However, we realized that the durian ice cream totally blends with both Earl Grey and Sea Salt Caramel and Almond Ice-cream. As it was the durian festival, I was enjoying the appetizing mao shan wang ice cream but I think Udder‘s durian ice cream is way better! It was my first time trying both the Earl Grey and Sea Salt Caramel ice cream and I love it, especially because they have fig and almond in the respective flavours. I usually do not go for salty desserts but sweet caramel taste and saltiness complement one another.
