#109 TCC – The Connoisseur Concerto @ Bugis, Singapore
My business associate, his sister and I were looking for a good place for internet connection to work at Bugis Junction. However, the wireless internet at Starbucks & McDonalds was so bad that we decided to shift to TCC.

Also, they have more power cord to spare the 3 laptops we had. Their service was impeccable. We made a reservation for 3 15 minutes before we headed there. We asked if they had internet connection and power cords. They responded very friendly and have knowledge of their restaurant very well. A lot of servers that I have called do not know anything about what their restaurant offers and such. We took really long to order but they were very understanding. Their spaghetti took a really long time to be served though. Perhaps, it is made fresh.
Recommended for people who wants fast internet connection outside their homes !
FIRST VISIT
It was really cold that day so I got myself the Cappuccino Italiano. It tasted really nasty and bitter – not my cup of coffee I was looking forward too. Thank goodness for the two cookies that complemented that coffee. It helped to sweeten it up a little. My business associate also felt that his hot coffee (which I forgot to take picture of) was not good at all.

We stayed at TCC for more than 3 hours & it was getting late so I decided to have Wild Shrooms Spaghetti (SGD$16.80) for dinner. My business associate & his sister waited for me because they prefer to eat at the food court instead. The Wild Shrooms Spaghetti consists of sauteed mushrooms and asparagus with garlic-scented spaghetti. It was very appetizing and doesn’t feel fattening at all. I love their garlic and mushroom sauce as it is so mouth-watering. This spaghetti is far better than the spaghetti at NYDC & Eatzi Gourmet. Also, it seems like a lot of restaurants in Singapore have changed their recipes to be healthier than before. The menu states that the meal has “a healthy dose of potassium, selenium with carbohydrate and some dietary fibre.”

SECOND VISIT
My business associate and I went to TCC right after our meeting with Fairmont because we needed good internet connection for work yet again.
While my business associate was skyping with his parents, I readily ordered Dark Devotion (SGD$11) as I needed to have some desserts. The dessert comprised of a dark chocolate cake that oozes the chocolate lava. It is topped with vanilla ice cream, berries compote and a delicate orange sesame tuile. Again, another health claim stating that it is “super-rich in antioxidants & phytochemicals flavanoids.” This dessert is one of the signature dessert of TCC & it was recommended by Dilys, who was my secondary school classmate. Try it & you will not have regrets for LIFE !

My business associate ordered the cold chocolate of TCC & he had no comments regarding it because he was discussing with his parents regarding work.
