#472 Burger & Lobster @ Resorts World Genting, Genting
I have always seen people posting pictures of food served at Burger and Lobster whenever they head to London either for vacations or business trip. During my Genting trip with my father and sister back in February this year, I was surprised to know that Burger & Lobster is newly opened in Genting!

When the staffs of Resort World picked us up from our car after we have alighted at Genting Grand Hotel, they brought us to our room to settle down and briefed us on where we will be able to dine at for dinner. Since Burger & Lobster at Genting is also owned by the Genting group, the staff managed to make a reservation for us although the restaurant do not usually accept reservation. At around 5:30pm, one of the staff met us at the lobby and walked us all the way to Burger & Lobster at Skyavenue. After the hostess of Burger & Lobster brought us to our table, the staff of Resorts World left. Thanks to the reservation made, we did not have to line up like the scenario shown in the first picture.
Since there were three of us, we ordered The Original Lobster, The Seven Samurai Lobster Roll and Chilli Lobster as depicted in the fifth, sixth and seventh pictures respectively. We also shared two beverages, which are the Watermelon Juice and Banana Peanut Butter portrayed in the last picture. As the well renowned restaurant is part of the Genting Group, there are different prices for each dish. The Original Lobster dish costs RM148 for Genting members and RM153 for Non-Genting members. The Seven Samurai Lobster Roll costs RM95 for Genting members and RM105 for Non-Genting members. The Chilli Lobster costs RM168 for Genting members and RM173 for Non-Genting members. The Banana Peanut Butter Milkshake and Watermelon Juice cost the same, which is RM21 for Genting members and RM24 for Non-Genting members. We found the lobsters very fresh as it is air-flown from the deep Atlantic waters of Canada and you are able to see it LIVE in the tanks as seen in the third picture. Although there is nothing exceptional about the salad and fries, the lemon and garlic butter enhances the juiciness of the lobster. I love how the crust of the toasted brioche roll complements with the plump lobster meat and enjoyed how the Seven Samurai Lobster Roll is filled with seven spices sauce, which gives the dish a fragrant aroma. I believe that the Chilli Lobster is the dish that is served only in the Genting outlet in order to cater to Malaysians and Singaporeans’ tastebuds. This dish is definitely the highlight of our meal since the chili crab gravy is no stranger to both Singaporeans and Malaysians and it gives the flavourings of the dish the extra oomph. As for the beverages, I preferred the watermelon juice to the banana peanut butter milkshake as it was so refreshing after gobbling down the high dosage of lobster. Additionally, the milkshake was rather dense and too heavy after being bloated from the high lobster intake.
I could not believe that I went back to Burger & Lobster the very next day as both Elynn and I were coincidentally in Genting at the same time. Thus, she and her husband brought me there for dinner. We had a great time together and the service and ambiance definitely made the moments spent there even more enjoyable! I honestly think that the service for both my visits there were extremely excellent! On the first day, the female server explained to us the difference between the lobster and lobster roll options when we kept asking her questions. The male server on the second day took initiative to introduced us about the food options.

The dishes are of the same price as served in the Burger & Lobster outlets in London so it is good that they did not increase the price just because the outlet is outside London. The experience was great and I am looking forward to try the real deal in London.
