#201 Warung Made @ Seminyak, Bali
Our family shopped the entire streets of Seminyak during the day and when the sun sets, we decided to have dinner. My “Sa Cim” (third aunt) had already reserved the place for us at 7pm so we occupied 3 tables altogether.

Warung Made is so beautiful and huge. It has a bar area for relaxing and drinking alcohol and shops surrounding the dining area. There is also an area that portrays the historical and cultural picture frames of the place and famous people in Indonesia. Warung Made has different types of performances each night.
Mondays – solo guitar and Balinese dance performances
Tuesdays – tropical transit band and Balinese dance
Wednesdays – Live Piano and Balinese Dance
Thursdays – Acoustic Band
Fridays – Live Piano and Legong Dance
Saturdays – Salsa Latino and Tango Dance
Sundays – Balinese dance and Barong Dance
We went there on a Sunday so we could catch the Balinese and Barong Dance while having our dinner. There were break-dancers as well!
My sister, Bella got the spaghetti dish (1st picture) and my brother ordered the Alaska Roll (2nd picture – Rp 105,000). I have no idea why my siblings do not order any local food!! In the end, Bella did not like her spaghetti dish as it was too spicy and switched it with Athiam’s Nasi Campur Special (3rd picture – Rp 65,000) as Athiam found his dish too spicy to bear. Ah Hock also got himself the Nasi Campur Special and he enjoyed it so much that he finish eating it within seconds! I was famished when I got to the restaurant so I had Sate Ayam (4th picture – Rp 35,000), Nasi Goreng (5th & 6th pictures – Rp 40,000) and Mango Juice (7th picture). What a greed I was as I could not finish my meal so I asked my siblings and cousins to grab some of my Sate as the Nasi Goreng was served in such huge portion. I found the food at Warung Made very mediocre and the Nasi Goreng was too salty. I was really glad to drink mango juice as a lot of restaurants that I went to did not serve it. My siblings, cousins and I concluded that the restaurant had a good outlook but the food was really crappy.

Love the restaurant settings although I got bitten by many mosquitoes and the food was just average.
