#118 Andersen’s of Denmark Ice Cream @ Parkway Parade, Singapore
Vivian and I took a day to get together a day after work at Parkway Parade. We decided to have desserts at Vivian’s favourite ice-cream store after roaming around Parkway.

First visit to Andersen’s
The store is an unenclosed store filled lots of lavish cakes, ice-cream and they even serve fondue there. The male server serving us was very nice and attentive to us. He even gave us glasses of water without us asking about it. The place is indeed a cozy place to sit down and relax after a tiring day of window shopping. Although there are very few seats, the place is very spacious.
1st picture – Vivian had the typical contrasting flavours - a scoop of Belgian Chocolate Chip and a scoop of Strawberries and Cream. When dining at Andersen’s, we had a choice of topping our ice-cream with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Vivian love her ice-cream a hell lot as she always craves for Andersen’s whenever she is out with me.
2nd – 4th pictures - Contrary to Vivian’s taste bud, I ordered 2 scoops of ice-cream that have similar tastes. I got myself a scoop of Vanilla ice-cream and a scoop of Cookies and Cream ice-cream. The Vanilla ice-cream consists of Madagascan vanilla bean and obviously,the Cookies and Cream ice-cream comprised of chunks of Oreo cookies. I find that consuming the whipped cream with these two scoops of ice-cream is too saturated for my taste buds.

Second visit to Andersen’s
1st – 5th pictures – On my second visit there with my aunt and grandma, I wanted to try the Andersen’s Classic. This set costs SGD$12.90. The set consists of 5 scoops of ice-cream is topped with whipped cream and a fresh strawberry and placed on a crispy chocolate dipped waffle basket. The 5 flavours I ordered are Banana Crunch, Mint Chocolate Chip, Macadamia Nut, Mocha Almond Fudge and Strawberries and Cream. I find all flavours have their natural and refreshing tastes and I love the nuts that is in the banana crunch, macadamia nut and mocha almond fudge ice-cream.

6th picture – My grandma ordered two scoops of ice-cream without the topping of whipped cream. One scoop is The Fruit of Forest and I have forgotten what the other flavour was. As I had too much ice-cream to finish, I did not have enough room to try my grandma’s order.
