#108 Sun with Moon @ Orchard, Singapore
Vicky wanted to hang out with me since it was her day off so we went to Orchard. As usual, I was the person who was late and she is so used to it. Wanted to grab high tea but it was too late already so we decided to have dinner at the food court and dessert elsewhere. She recommended me to Sun with Moon since I do not know Singapore very well after it has been so well-developed.

Sun with Moon is such a huge restaurant. The photos that I have taken do not even cover the entire restaurant. Like always, I am amazed by the interior design of Singaporean restaurant because is always so beautiful, adorable or creatively done up! However, their services can throw you off your feet. I guess I am too used to better services in Canada that I don’t seem to find decent services over here, how unfortunate.
1st picture – Both Vicky & I got two desserts to share altogether. The first one was Anmitsu Parfait, which costs SGD$6.50. The dessert consists of red bean paste, glutinous rice balls, a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, whipped cream and a variety of fruits. It was refreshing to my palette as it is a cooling and gratifying dessert – fresh fruits and saturated red bean complement one another.

2nd & 3rd pictures – The second dessert we shared was the Hokkaido Milk Crepe that is SGD$7.80. This milk crepe is a soft crepe layered with chocolate milk cream, topped with whipped cream and nicely decorated with chocolate sauce. It is definitely one of a kind. Even Vicky, who is a chef at Fairmont Hotel gives it a huge thumbs up! The crepe melts in your mouth like no other.

The bill costs a total of SGD$35.07 , inclusive of tax and tips. A little too expensive for less than mediocre entrées and dessert.
