#209 BonChon Chicken @ Bugis+, Singapore
My aunt and her partners opened a BonChon’s franchise at Bugis+ sometime this year and I haven’t been able pay it a visit until I had a month’s break between my work at Singapore and school at Vancouver. Charles also wanted to pay BonChon a visit because his cousin in the States always travel for an hour to get to BonChon. Contrary to that, it is very accessible to get to BonChon and takes a very short time to commute there by MRT/buses.

One of the days in August, we decided to pay BonChon a visit after his work and after shopping with my BFF. As Singapore has limited space, BonChon is one of those unenclosed restaurants with some seats to spare.
We got ourselves the Large Combo, which comprises of a bowl of rice, a bowl of kimchi, 4-5 huge chicken drumsticks and 5-6 small chicken drumsticks with spicy and soy garlic flavours. We thought that the meal will not be enough for us but I was too full after finishing my second huge chicken drumstick. We prefer the small chicken drumsticks to the huge ones as you can taste more flavours of the small drumsticks and the huge drumsticks were very dry. After the dinner, my aunt also told me that the small crispy chickens taste much better than the huge ones.
The total bill came up to a total of SGD$23.20, inclusive of 17% tax.

I don’t recommend the huge drumsticks but you can give the small chicken drumsticks a try!
