I have been wanting to eat at Hainanese Delicacy since I came back to Singapore in August last year. However, I did not have the time to do so. One day after work, I finally met up with Jny and we walked from Ion all the way there to have dinner. However, Hainanese Delicacy was closed at an early timing (8PM) due to their popularity. Thus, we went to Men-ya Kaiko Hokkaido Ramen instead.
The next 2 times I went to Hainanese Delicacy were with Yati and Jessica & her family.

Hainanese Delicacy looks like any typical air-conditional coffee shop. The waiting line to be seated is really long though. The first time I went there with Yati after her graduation ceremony, we had to share our table with a lady who is eating there as well. This is because they have limited seats available.
Yati and I was starving so I decided to give her a treat at Hainanese Delicacy because I was craving for their Hainanese Chicken Rice.
We ordered the following:
Half of their Roasted Chicken – SGD$17
I really love their aromatic roasted chicken, especially with the tasty chilli and black sauce provided – very juicy and scrumptious ! This is definitely one of those ” must eat ” hainanese chicken rice in Singapore. However, I think that Delicious Boneless Chicken Rice is way better !

Their hainanese rice is also very mouth-watering. Makes me crave for their rice more than their chicken. Fragrant rice indeed !

I would say that it is value for money but the price is a little on the steep side.

In conclusion, I would still highly recommend this store to people who frequent town, have cravings for Hainanese Chicken Rice and are too lazy to travel to other areas to get it.
