#341 미스테리 @ Hongdae, Seoul
I was walking along the streets of Hongdae on the second night that I moved over and I noticed another small food stall that was selling street food, as well as having dine ins available! Since I wanted to sit comfortably and try the street food of Seoul, this is the perfect place to start!

This mini restaurant is enclosed with transparent glass doors so it is a good place to dine and people watch. It is also not a very shabby restaurant as it is decorated rather well for such a small restaurant with a few tables and chairs. The server is also a friendly person who takes the initiative to make a conversation with you.
I had Korean instant noodles the first time I went there and topokki on my second visit. I was surprised when I got Korean instant noodles when I requested for ramyeon but my friend told me that like Hong Kong, Korean restaurants do serve instant noodles as well. People are saying that those served at restaurants taste way better than the ones you cook at home but for me, I would rather save that money and try other food. I have never tried topokki until I came to Seoul but it is one of the most delicious street food ever! It consists of rice cakes and fish cakes topped with sweet chili sauce – definitely one of a kind. Everything in that dish is very chewy so I would not recommend my current self to consume it as I am currently wearing braces.

This restaurant is not a place to fill your stomach to the brim but rather, a place to let you try a variety of Korean snacks. In any case, do give it a try if you are at Hongdae!
