When I was in Seoul, I was so excited to go to many theme cafes such as dog cafe, cat cafe, princess cafe and hello kitty cafe. However, my BFF does not like to go to such cafes as she felt that it was a waste of money. So, I went over with my Korean friend from Vancouver, Stella. It is really funny how she does not know of such cafes even though she lives in Seoul.

It took us a long time to search for the cafe after much directions from cafe bloggers / naver but thankfully, we managed to find the cafe after half an hour. As you can see from above, the spacious cafe is filled with many dogs – some of which are brought over by customers and others belong to the cafe. I even saw a customer bringing 4 dogs in at once and the moment they stepped in, all the dogs started being so excited and running after one another. Basically for cafes such as dog cafe and cat cafe, you have to either order a beverage or a dessert and you can play and snap shots with the dogs after. The lady serving us was very polite and friendly. She was asking where I came from and wanted to know all about me since I was conversing with Stella in English. Thankfully, we had Stella to help us translate.

As you can see from the pictures above, it was hard to take a photo of all the dogs together since they kept moving around all the time. However, it was much easier doing so when they are taken individually. I had Green Tea Shake (8,000 won) since I am a fan of all things matcha and I was too full from desserts at Caffe Bene. Moreover, the dogs get to sit and stand at your table so I prefer having something with a lid on it to prevent the food item from being contaminated from the dogs’ fur. I really enjoyed cafe hopping there and I hope that you would too!
