It was my cousin’s birthday on the 11-11-11 but we celebrated it on 12-11-11 at Taman Anggrek’s Center Stage. I was surprised to see my cousin’s three tiered tarts displayed as it was so adorable!

My aunt told me that she bought the tarts from Central Park’s Maqui’s but the above picture was taken in Mal Kelapa Gading. The Maqui’s stores are always beautifully decorated so as to attract customers with all their adorable tarts, jelly and sweet displays. I forgot to look at the prices of the tarts to see if they are value for money but we will check it out the next time. Maqui‘s is a Japanese cake shop from KOBE.
My aunt ordered many boxes of tarts so as to place the three different flavours onto this three-tiered tray. The three flavours they had were green tea, vanilla and custard and I particularly enjoyed the vanilla flavour the most. I have always love matcha but the green tea flavour of this tart is too dry and not sweet at all. I have forgotten how the custard tart tastes like. The second tier consists of 6 tarts with my cousin’s name on it, “amanda”.

In conclusion, I do not have lots of comments for Maquis as I have yet to try their other desserts.
