On my last day of school at Hanyang University last January, I moved from the dorm of Hanyang University to a guesthouse at Hongdae. It took me a long time to pack and post all my souvenirs back to Singapore and lug 3 of my heavy luggages to Hongdae. Thank goodness for Suzuka, Momoko and Yuzu for helping me heaps! After moving to Hongdae, it was already close to 8pm so Hisako and I decided to have dinner around the area since I was starving!

I did not have a Korean line so we decided to meet at one of the exits of Hongdae station and thankfully we could find one another. She brought me to this restaurant cum bar that plays great music and serves alcohol and jjimdak. The server is very friendly and kept asking where we were from and such. As you all already know from my previous entry about jjimdak at 봉추찜닭, the portion size is huge! This explains why we only got a plate of the 해물찜닭 / Jjimdak with seafood to share. It costs 30,000 won but totally worth it though!! If we were not so tired, we would have gotten beer with this – a great complement indeed!!

Hongdae definitely lives up to it’s name for great cafes, restaurants, bars and clubs so you can have jjimdak for supper after your clubbing session and I am sure the restaurant is still open for you!
