#198 Ren Ren Desserts (仁仁甜品) @ Katong Shopping Centre, Singapore
After having lunch with Charles at the Delicious Boneless Chicken Rice, Charles brought me to Ren Ren Desserts to end my meal with a sweet note.

I never knew Ren Ren Desserts existed until Charles brought me there. It was just a few shops away from the chicken rice stall. The place is quite neat and small but there is quite a number of tables and the place is not as squeezy as other restaurants. The person serving us did not have a good attitude though. She was rather impatient and angsty when taking our orders.
We ended up ordering Black Glutinous Rice Pudding as seen in the first and second pictures and Mango Shaved Ice as depicted in the third and forth pictures. Both desserts cost SGD$3.60 and SGD$4.80 respectively. Quite affordable and the portion of the dessert is bigger than usual as well. The Black Glutinous Rice Pudding consists of black glutinous rice in condensed milk with a scoop of ice cream and fresh durian paste – So much sweetness but it tastes oh-so-good! It was the durian festival at that time so I would try any desserts that have durian in it. The Mango Shaved Ice comprises of fresh mango topped with pomelo with a scoop of ice cream at the side. Charles and I were indulging and enjoying our desserts even though we were very bloated from our lunch.
