#173 Ippudo Singapore @ Mandarin Gallery, Singapore
I have never been to the newly established Mandarin Gallery before but my third aunt has told me that the restaurants there serve really good food! Vivian wanted to try some of the highly raved restaurants such as Wild Honey. However, I was craving for ramen and I remember my third aunt recommending Ippudo Singapore so we decided to have our lunch at Ippudo Singapore instead.

Ippudo Singapore has a very grand outlook and the servers served the ramen with pride. It has a variety of ramen in the menu to choose from refined, modern-style ramen to classic hakata style ramen. It was quite a good experience consuming food there.
1st & 2nd pictures – I ordered Shiromaru Motoaji Ramen, which is definitely worth SGD$15. The ramen is a classic hakata style ramen. I enjoy having ramen with tonkatsu broth because it is thick from the boiling of fat, collagen and pork bones for hours. The outcome is a creamy consistency, which is a factor I look out for in ramen broth. The noodles served in the broth is very thin and the rosu cha shu (pork loin) is really tender and soft. Other ingredients such as kikurage, spring onions and cabbage blended very well with the dish. I added tamago as well, which adds another SGD$2 to my meal.
Ratings: 4/5★
3rd-5th pictures -Vivian got herself the Akamaru Shinaji Ramen, which is a modern-style ramen that costs SGD$16. She added tamago as well so it was an additional SGD$2. Her ramen tonkotsu broth is made with blended miso paste and garlic oil. The noodles she chose were thin noodles with buta bara (pork belly), kikurage (cloud ear mushrooms) and spring onions on the side. Compared to Ajisen Ramen and the other expensive ramen we had at Ion, Vivian found that the ramen served at Ippudo fared the best!
The total bill came up to SGD$47.05. Although it maybe a little expensive for some people but their ramen is top-notch and I swear by it!
