newsflash: blenz coffee @ coquitlam is up and running !

so the blenz coffee located at coquitlam central was officially reopened by johannes kriswanto rahardjo and clara kriswanto on the 28th of july 2010. this calls for a celebration for the ever so popular cafe, which serves coffee, protein shakes, matcha lattes, hot chocolate and such.

as you can see, i was pretty excited when nungki called me to chill with her at her parents’ cafe. i couldn’t wait to promote this cafe even though it is already well known to the people in vancouver. coquitlam central maybe a place far away from everywhere else but the mall is really huge and consist of many shops such as H&M, lululemon, etc. the best thing is it is not as crowded as pacific center or metrotown. those places make me nauseous with it’s human traffic ! people should consider heading to coquitlam central for a better shopping experience and not forgetting to visit the blenz coffee branch there ^^

nungki and ditto were really patient introducing the huge list of beverages and explaining the ingredients to me. they made my decision for my orders so much easier. i was served by ditto by the way and though we are friends, he was very professional. the cafe is also very sanitized as ditto kept clearing the tables whenever customers leave their dirt all over the table.

2 HOURS USAGE OF WIFI WITH EVERY PURCHASE MADE !

as everyone already knows, blenz cafe is an internet cafe and thus, you are able to study/surf the net/etc when you purchase something. it has a nice ambiance that allows you to do all of the above at ease.

SUPER FRUIT YOGURT CHILLOS

there are 6 flavors to choose from blenz’s fruit chillo. i got the super fruit chillo, which consist of antioxidant and mixed berries. you can choose between ice-cream and yogurt fruitchillo and needless to say, i got the lighter and healthier choice – yogurt ! the berries tasted fresh but it was a tad too sweet for my liking.

MATCHA CHILLO

nungki & i got another chillo after we were done with our first one. this time, we didn’t choose anything fruity. we had matcha chillo instead and this tasted way healthier and lighter than our first drink. it was not as sweet as the super fruit chillo. it tasted more like matcha slush bubble tea but without the pearls and not as saccharine.

LIVE PERFORMANCE !!

blenz coffee will be having a live music performance at coquitlam central on the 13th of august from 5pm to end at coquitlam central !! everyone should show their support by attending the event. it will be a weekly event if everything is smooth-sailing. you’ll NOT regret taking time off as the live performance will be nothing but a BLAST !

blenz coquitlam had a movie night on the 6th of may and thus, they invited me to watch it. initially, they wanted to watch ” legend of the fist ” but there was a technical problem so we watched ” black swan ” instead. blenz is such a cozy place for live performances and movie nights. though the movie was intense, we all had a good time at blenz ^^ they plan to have more movie nights during the summer so i’ll update it in my facebook page.

once again, i got my favorite matcha chillo and it always never fails me. you got a better deal if you have SPC card so you can upgrade the size of your cup for FREE !!
