Any was sick of Chinese food last June at Macau, so we were asking the information counter at Galaxy Macau if there were any Portuguese restaurants around the area. The person was recommending Gosto to us and so we went!

Gosto turned out to be beautifully dimmed and decorated elegantly in a Portuguese fashion. What we had was Curried Prawns, Portuguese Chicken and Biscuit Mousse with a glass of red/white wine. The food was unexpectedly good as both of us have not eaten Portuguese food before. The curried prawns are not spicy at all but the curry brings out the flavours of the prawns. It was a good combination having the white wine with the curried prawns and the red wine with the portuguese chicken as well! Due to the wine intake, the bill came to a total of MOP609.40 (CAD$88.33 / USD$76.29 / SGD$100.81).

One of our best meals at Macau was at Gusto as service is top-notch, the ambiance is great and the food is also delicious – What more can we ask for?
