On the first weekend of my Hanyang University Korean language course last January, I was so glad to have my own quality time since I have been constantly surrounding by people day and night during the weekdays. So I went out and about early in the morning to roam around Seoul and try out the different themed cafes.

The first themed cafe that I went to was the Angel-in-us Coffee, which is filled with decorations related to angels. There are many statues and logos of angels and even the door knobs have angel wings. Since it is an angel-themed cafe, all the more the Christmas decorations were not removed even though it was nearing the end of January. Christmas and angels do complement one another and it does make the cafe look very whismical. Service wise, it is quite hard to communicate with the server but still, they were nice enough to take a photo of my beverage and I.
Even though I love waffles like no other and Angel Cafe does serve waffles, I decided not to have waffles and gelato on my own to cut down on my sugar intake. So I got a cup of matcha latte instead. I am not a person who can take in coffee so matcha latte is my best bet! The latte tastes good but a little too sweet for my liking. It is quite an irony because I am crazy for sweet food but I do not usually drink sweet beverages. 5,500 won (USD$5.39 / CAD$5.80 / SGD$6.73) for a cup of coffee is considered a norm in Seoul.
